7 simple body positive things you can do today.

- Stop negative self-talk.
Do the things you say about your body make you feel better about yourself?
If not, stop it now!
- Look for the good stuff instead.
Do you have a talent? Are you a good friend? Are you witty?
We all have something that makes us special. Look for it, nurture it, and tell others about it.
- Dress for the body you have.
Wear clothes that fit and make you feel good about yourself. Don’t buy clothes to ‘slim into’ or clothes to hide behind.
- Stop comparing yourself to others.
We all have our own story. Accept your shortcomings, celebrate your successes, and be kind to yourself. Treat yourself in the same way as you would treat someone you love very much.
- Celebrate what your body can DO.
Can you swim? Have you had children? Has your body healed after an operation? Can you dance or sing?
Your body has many functions. It is not just something to look at and judge. Your body does amazing things and you should be proud.
- Respect your body.
Do things that make you feel good.
Keep your body active and listen to it’s needs.
- Surround yourself with positive influences.
Meet up with friends that make you laugh. Read books that fill you with joy. Listen to music that makes you want to dance. Whatever you enjoy, do more of it!
